Wind chill advisory...

Hey...we survived Super Bowl hysteria, and now, perhaps, the good folks from Green Bay and Pittsburgh and points elsewhere will kindly scurry back to their respective domains. I've had enough of the "Terrible Towels" and the "Cheese Heads" to last multiple lifetimes, so be gone you small market slugs! (Spoken like a true Bears' fan!)

It's Tuesday afternoon and a clear, blue sky is out there! It's 9° now, and overnight it's supposed to be something like -23° wind chill factor. But the good thing is it's already February 8th. It seems that this month is filled with lots of things to do, places to go, and people to see. Before we realize it, March will make its welcomed appearance and we'll really begin to think seriously about the end of the winter drudge.

I have many thoughts about those "things to do," "the places to go," and "the people to see" in my next post. I also have a few leftover thoughts about all things Super Bowl.

By the way, if I never hear, or see, the Black-Eyed Peas again, it will be way too soon! And the next person who fails to give our National Anthem its proper treatment (respect and dignity) should be drawn and quartered...I'm serious! Sing it the way it should be sung!

Down that road we shall venture in our next post...MLA
